Greetings Mustang Families!

Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Maysville Elementary! I hope this summer brought your family moments of rest, reflection, and joyful memories. As we open our doors once again, I want you to know how deeply honored I am to serve this school and this incredible community. There is something truly special about Maysville, and it starts with the partnership we share with YOU—our families.

For the 2025-2026 school year, our theme is "Focus. Learn. Progress." And at the heart of this theme is a simple yet powerful symbol: the lightbulb.

Lightbulbs represent ideas, discovery, and growth—exactly what we want to cultivate in every child who walks through our doors. When students focus, they begin to see things more clearly. When they learn, their understanding shines brighter. And when they make progress, their light grows stronger and begins to illuminate the world around them.

Throughout this year, you’ll see lightbulbs in our classrooms, our hallways, and our conversations—not just as decorations, but as reminders of our collective mission: to spark curiosity, ignite a love of learning, and help every student take their next step forward. We are committed to high expectations, strong relationships, and ensuring every child feels SAFE and LOVED the moment they walk through our doors.
